Daily Grocery Treats Made Easy
Our house in the morning is never silent. Someone is rushing to get ready, someone is searching for keys, and mummy is already in the kitchen managing everything. I usually walk in half sleepy, trying to look productive.
On such days, no one has patience for complicated breakfast. That’s when I quietly take out Koko Krunch from the shelf.
Pour. Add milk. Done.
I don’t know why, but cereal still feels slightly exciting. Maybe because it reminds me of school mornings when I thought eating cereal made me very “grown up.” Even now, when I sit with that bowl before starting work, it feels like a small comfort.
I usually pick it up from Aap Ka Bazar. It’s easy to find there. If I’m already nearby, I just grab it from the store. If I’m tired, I order it online. Simple things like this make daily life easier.
That Afternoon Heat and Something Thanda
Afternoons in Indian homes have a different kind of silence. Fan spinning fast, sunlight coming through the curtains, and everyone feeling slightly lazy.
That’s when someone says, “Kuch thanda pila do.”
For me, that “thanda” is often Brahmi Sharbat.
It’s one of those drinks that feels old-school in the best way. My nani always believed it’s good for cooling the body. It feels light, refreshing.
I recently restocked it from Aap Ka Bazar because summers are already starting to feel intense. What I like is that along with modern items, you also find traditional drinks there. It feels balanced.
Evening Cravings Are Real
Evenings are the most critical times when cravings are involved. It is around the time of chai that I always feel like having something sweet to eat.
It is at this point that Hershey's Liquid Chocolate becomes my weakness.
I am not the kind of person who makes elaborate desserts. But with this bottle in the fridge, everything feels upgrade ho gaya.
Plain vanilla ice cream? Add a drizzle.
Simple pancakes? Pour some on top.
Cut fruits? Little chocolate and suddenly it looks special.
These small tricks make hosting easy.
One Place for Everything
Earlier, grocery shopping meant planning properly. Different shops for different things. If one item was not available, the whole mood would get spoiled.
Now I mostly check Aap Ka Bazar first.
Whether it’s Koko Krunch for quick mornings, Brahmi Sharbat for summer afternoons, or Hershey's Liquid Chocolate for sweet cravings — I find them there without stress.
And the best part is, I can choose. If I feel like stepping out, I visit the offline store. If I’m busy with work, I just order online.
That flexibility matters. Especially on days when energy is low.
Why These Small Things Matter ?
We don’t always realise how much food connects with emotions.
Koko Krunch: Carefree mornings.
Brahmi Sharbat for hot afternoons.
Hershey's Liquid Chocolate for sweet evenings.
Everything in one place. And the best part? Both offline and online options are there.
And when you know these trusted brands are easily available, it removes unnecessary tension. No last-minute panic. No running to multiple stores.
Ending the Day on a Sweet Note
Life is already full of responsibilities — office work, family expectations, daily tasks. We can’t control everything.
But we can control small comforts.
A bowl of cereal before heading out to work.
A glass of chilled sharbat in the afternoon sun.
A drizzle of chocolate when you want something sweet after a long day.
If these things are readily available at Aap Ka Bazar, it feels comforting. No running around. No last-minute panic.
Just simple groceries. Familiar brands. And everyday moments that feel warm and real.
