Healthy Soya Granules & Badam

I don’t know when it happened exactly, but somewhere between trying to eat a little better and managing everyday life in Saket, soya granules and badam became permanent members of my kitchen.

Earlier, soya granules were something my mom bought during her “healthy eating phase.” She would make soya pulao once, and the packet would just sit there for months. And badam? That was only during exam season. Five soaked almonds every morning — no excuses.

But now, things are different.

Now I actually choose to keep them at home. And honestly, I don’t regret it.

Soya Granules – The Quick Fix for “What to Cook?” Moments

You know those nights when it’s already late, everyone is hungry, and you’re looking at the fridge as if it’s going to magically come up with dinner ideas?

That’s when soya granules save me.

I usually buy Nutrela Soya Granules or sometimes Fortune Soya Granules — both easily available at Aap Ka Bazar. Whether I visit the store or order online, I know I’ll find them.

The best part? They cook fast.

Soak them for a few minutes, squeeze out the water, add them to onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic, some basic masalas… and you’ve got a protein-rich sabzi ready. Sometimes I mix them in paratha stuffing. Sometimes I add them to poha. It merges so well that even fussy eaters do not complain much.

And on days when I am trying to avoid too much heavy food, soya seems like a smarter choice.  It’s filling. It’s light. And it keeps you satisfied.

Not fancy. Just practical.

Badam – Small Habit, Big Comfort

Badam is different. It’s not about cooking. It’s about routine.

Every morning, I soak a handful of almonds. Nothing dramatic — just 5 or 6. With chai or before breakfast, I eat them slowly. It’s become automatic now.

I usually pick California Almonds, Mamra Badam, or Tulsi Almonds, whichever looks fresh and good. Aap Ka Bazar keeps good branded options, so I don’t have to think twice.

There’s something comforting about having a jar of badam in the kitchen. If company comes unexpectedly, you have something decent to offer. If I realize that I’m starting to feel that typical afternoon slump, you know, around 4 PM when my eyes start feeling heavy, I just grab 4-5 almonds and munch on them. That’s it. No need for any elaborate preparation.

Why I Prefer Buying Them from Aap Ka Bazar ?

Living in Saket means options are everywhere. But I don’t like hopping between multiple stores.

If I am going out for an evening walk, I enter Aap Ka Bazar. The products are arranged in order, and I can easily look for brands such as Nutrela, Fortune, Tata, Amul, Tulsi, and many more. No confusion. No asking ten people where something is.

And on busy days — which, honestly, are most days — I just order online.

The products reach quickly, and all of them are properly packed. Whether it is soya granules, badam, atta, oil, or even biscuits for tea time, everything falls into place.

One order, done.

That convenience matters more than we admit.

Not Just Health – It’s About Balance

I’m not someone who follows strict diets. I still eat street food. I still crave sweets.

But adding soya granules to regular meals and keeping badam at home feels like balance. Like I’m not completely ignoring health.

And the good part? These are not expensive, complicated ingredients. They’re easily available. Familiar brands. No experimenting.

Sometimes we think healthy living needs big changes. Gym memberships. Fancy superfoods. But honestly, small kitchen habits matter more.

A packet of soya granules in the pantry.

A jar of badam near the stove.

That’s it.

Little Choices, Everyday Difference

Life in Delhi moves fast. Work, family, traffic, constant noise. We can’t control everything.

But we can control what stays in our kitchen.

For me, soya granules and badam are those simple, dependable choices. They don’t demand attention. They just quietly do their job.

And knowing that I can get them easily — both offline and online at Aap Ka Bazar — makes it even simpler.

No overthinking. No extra effort.

Just everyday groceries… done right.
